I don't know what my friend will do. If I had to guess she will persevere, and in so doing break some ground about resilience for the rest of her region who will experience in decades what she's going through now.

1. How could coming changes as best you can see them (to democracay, to climate, to economy) but your work at risk? Can you protect against any of it? Can you diversify the seeds you plant?

eroding you initial effort. If you play that out (and maybe you already have) you'd be emphasizing efficiency, and design for a warming climate and passive cooling, etc. So that's an example of #1 above.

As for #2...say you anticipate more instability with climate - seems pretty sure odds somewhere in the global infrastructure of your company there could losses due to climate, could you and colleague be ready with new designs, super low energy, modular, that also could provide
