We’ve installed our first ultra-fast #electricvehicle charger in the #UK – part of @BPChargemaster’s growing network. Another example of why at BP, it’s #NotBusinessAsUsual

Just to be clear, this does not help with the essential challenge of reducing energy demand so that renewables have a hope of replacing the fossil fuel which has to stay in the ground. THERE IS NOTHING GREEN GOING ON HERE - except greenwash.

Does BP really think we can't see through their very obvious and ridiculous attempts at greenwashing? I'm calling them out too!

Emily Cunningham @emahleeReplying to @BP_plc @bp_plc @PaulMos59746338BP says it "will take time & investment" to move toward renewable energy. This is dangerous and misguided. Why? – Physics has already set the timeline for us. We're out of time. – Climate delaying is the new climate denying. If we go at BP's pace we'll face catastrophic warming1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes

Emily Cunningham @emahleeReplying to @emahlee @bp_plc @BPChargemasterBP, don't @ me with examples of piecemeal projects. Show me: 1. What percentage renewables are of your overall portfolio 2. How you are transitioning away from fossil fuels in the timeline scientists say is needed to avoid catastrophic warming Until then, you're greenwashing.0 replies 1 retweet 2 likes
