Good questions. Maybe to take what I know of your work @emahlee....you are working to move your company to a lower carbon footprint...say you were to focus on instituting cleaner energy, but then, due to warming we can't prevent, air conditioning needs in facilities go up
eroding you initial effort. If you play that out (and maybe you already have) you'd be emphasizing efficiency, and design for a warming climate and passive cooling, etc. So that's an example of #1 above.

Something interesting that Amazon could run a pilot on (and which is already happening at the margins, w/iTunes & Kindle): how to dematerialize the economy. And maybe, for material aspects, how to localize where possible. A narrative of what that would look like would be good.
