It took me a few months to really understand. I was called out, I was defensive and confused because I didn't see how what I was doing was anti-black..which in my case was co-opting BLM and oppression olympics even tho as we all here...not my intent or understanding.

It took me a while, numerous questions and really being able to listen and hear what was being said. And then it snowballed cuz once I started to understand what anti-blackness was, i started piecing it together and realizing how prevalent/normalized it was in my environment.
