In a genuine spirit of wanting to learn, I wanted to ask you about these lines. I'm grappling with your words, and what I've also heard from scientists and others I trust, namely that certain levels of catastrophe are not inevitable. 2/

I also hadn't heard the "30 years of life" timeline. From what I've learned so far (but I genuinely want to understand what you know), human extinction is probably not likely, and how bad it gets (though not an "end") will be decided by our actions now. 3/
