I have tremendous respect for @billmckibben and @ElizKolbert — their stories were among the first to tell us about the urgency of the climate and biodiversity crises.

Also: I really dislike the New Yorker's clickbait-y, misleading subhead. Such terrible framing. Too late? Too late for what? It makes it seem like
@billmckibben and@ElizKolbert believe we should throw up our hands and quit which is patently untrue. -
