We live in a time when we no longer know how to respond to the scale of crime it is possible to commit. It began when not a single person was brought to justice for the financial crisis. Will anyone be brought to justice for throwing acid in the face of the democratic process?

@writerfarmer beware Beto on climate. Why? 1. He won't sign the No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge https://twitter.com/KateAronoff/status/1118564471600025603 …https://twitter.com/collinrees/status/1118575354543857664 …Emily Cunningham added,
Collin Rees @collinreesReplying to @KateAronoffIt also allows for donations (of any size) from the overwhelming majority of fossil fuel industry workers – anyone who's not an SEC-Named Executive – b/c they're not obstacles to climate action. Beto's campaign knows this extremely well, so his misrepresentation is pretty rich.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes

2. He is shifting on climate dates. Originally he said we need net zero emissions by 2030, now he's saying 2050, which is 20 years too late.https://twitter.com/sunrisemvmt/status/1122913320959389696 …

4. As
@KateAronoff reports, Beto's voting record on climate is extremely problematic. Among other things, "He voted with [Republicans] as well to encourage more natural gas exports, and to stop a Democratic bill to ban drilling in the Gulf of Mexico."https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/mar/15/beto-orourke-friend-fossil-fuel-industry-climate-change …0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
