I’m going to make it plain. If Trump, Bannon or a Republican had uttered or tweeted the same antisemitic sentences (intentional or not), we would call it for what it is and demand that everyone else do the same.

Eric, so many people are confused about antisemitism, and don't register what Rep Omar did as antisemitism. I called this out on another thread and got a lot of replies like this one: "AIPAC IS a powerful Lobby influencing us though." It has over 100 likes.

Folks are saying, "but lobbying IS an issue. They exist to exert influence. Why can't we talk about this one? Criticism of AIPAC/Israel is not the same thing as anti-semitism." How do you personally explain this to folks? They don't get it, but many genuinely want to.
