OMG @rgunns jumped on Twitter to write this FUCKING FANTASTIC thread! Go read it! She's the big brain policy analyst working on the Green New Deal.
I immediately followed her while reading @drvox's explainer piece on the GND. But she's never on Twitter. I'm so excited!https://twitter.com/rgunns/status/1094048665436647429 …
Here's @drvox's piece on the GND where I first learned about @rgunns's work to make the idea of the GND into a "concrete policy platform that diverse constituencies can rally around." Yay! Big fan! So incredibly thankful for the work she's doing.

I also *loved* learning
@rgunn worked as a user researcher (!) and is applying those skills in figuring out the policy platform behind the#GreenNewDeal. Yes! “I spent a little bit of time as a [user experience] researcher so my team also thinks about the end user.”#UXShow this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

but i’ve been seeing a lot of coverage accusing the green new deal of being a "wish list" of progressive policies for including anything unrelated to climate. it's just not true. 1/
