Collective action is *the* focus. I’d go farther than David or Hal on that— we need WAY more organizing. I’m unique in that I don’t believe that we can get a Green New Deal without leaders signaling (eg) that solar actually works or that urbanites will ride bikes

But collective action wasn't the focus in Eric's original thread that Jessica (and I) were/are reacting to. And I see consumerism/individualism-focused solutions a TON out there in MSM. And I'm with you on this point too - we do need WAYYYY more organizing.
