First you try to qualify your MISLEADING statement by saying you were a "'fan of Beto". Beto actually received ALL his contributions from INDIVIDUALS not corporations or PACS or special interest as proven by the Texas tribune and @leahmcelrath
From what I saw, he never presented himself in the campaign as a left leaning progressive like Ocasio-Cortez. It was more like he was a better representative of "decent, conservative Texas values" than Trump/Cruz.
Yes, thank you Emily. This needs to be talked about more. I was all for Beto in midterms, but he CLEARLY doesn't pass the litmus test here. Fossil fuel $$ must be removed from politics ASAP.
And your statement about immigration policy is also misleading and does not explain that policy was to speed up the processing of migrants and asylum seekers at the Southern border instead of having them wait for weeks. Also it was to provide technological support to CBP .
