This seems a little too easy, doesn't it? Just saying ...
I don't think so. It just speeds up one step on the way to finding the crux of a disagreement: Do we disagree on the facts? Often, the answer is no; we just disagree on which facts are significant & which patterns are relevant. So let's argue about that rather than the facts.
I like this but I can't help but fret over the actual regressions presented, and the fact that there *is* a procedure for deciding which one is more likely to model the data (it could be neither)
Just because a pattern is emergent doesn't make it subjective.
