One thing I have noticed is the lack of Horde and Alliance in Shadowlands as a whole. Obviously, it makes sense but already it's starting to show for some people. It was the same in Legion (at least for me), then in BfA people wanted Factions gone. Now we're back to square one.
Even if not everyone agrees with it, for me, Warcraft IS about Horde and Alliance. Working together, fighting each other... I love both factions and was happy to see BFA coming with how poor it was in Legion. I'm missing it and I fear we will have to wait 2yrs to see some of it.
I feel that quite a bit too. Horde and the Alliance are what makes this game and the number of people who want that aspect gone are wrong in that sense.
Yes... BFA had been a huge disappointement for me. We were promised a faction-themed and more "simple" expansion (fighting for ressources and lands) and after one patch it was half-gone. Legion bored me and I fear SL will be the same, even if fun so far. I miss Azeroth already.
As much as I agree, I think Legion needed it, but I wish we made more of a point to set aside differences. Make it a point that yes, Horde and Alliance as political bodies are not leading the charge.
