As much as I find varian my fav character, I dont want him to return in shadowlands. He had a perfect sendoff in legion, and further appearances would take away from its value. That being said, I'm not against a cameo, I just dont want him to play even a minimal role.

I agree. There is truly no need for him to appear. And I personally like to headcanon the fact that he remains on Azeroth, like some other souls, looking after his son. However, I'm not against a Anduin VS PuppetVarian fight if that kind of scenario ever happened...

Yes. However I like to think there was still a fragment of it clinging on Shalamayne tho. I refuse to believe that the Varian appearing in the Memento questline cinematic isn't really him and just a fake vision ahah. He seemed at peace and that was good to see
