I just realized the setting of Shadowlands is pretty similar to one of my favorite games of all times, a PS2 game called Primal.
Here is the story:

The realm of death being split into 4 realms (2 for Order, 2 for Chaos) and energy is being balanced between them. But of course, soon, the Chaos entity wants more and take over the Order realms and sent guys to perturbate the two Order realms and gain more energy for him.

The fun part is that there is a realm with some vampire guys too and they have the exact same vibe as the Shadowlands ones. Other realms aren't similar at all tho, as the whole game have a strong gothic vibe. If you have a PS4, it's available on the store in HD.
