Let’s not forget that Elton knows this disease firsthand. He watched many friends suffer disctimination, bigotry and physical suffering from this disease. One of his friends was Freddie Mercury who died in 1991 at the height of the epidemic & hysteria.

I just don’t see how u can expect a black male American to see things exactly as an extraordinarily privileged European white man. Obviously there is going to be some fundamental disagreements. If we can’t understand this as a society then we’re in big trouble I’d say
