I'm a fan of your's since reading the Wait But Why pieces, but I am really unhappy w tweets like this. Fanning the flames of the distrust of the media is a thing that authoritarians and demagogues do to ignore criticism and discredit opponents. It's a major problem of our times.

You could do a quick google search, model 3 is not even close to being consistent production, competitors will beat on the low and high end of the market

Tesla is at around 3000 per week. There is no other car in the compact premium segment (maybe BMW i3). I assume the German car manufacturers will bring some competition to the market, but until then they only make promises.
