If the U.S. has 0% tariff, the citizens benefit from paying cheaper goods. If China has 100% tariff, the citizens end up paying for much more expensive goods. As a consumer, what do you want? I want to pay for cheaper/same quality goods. And I would never buy a Chinese car.

No, because the US & China don’t have equal wages. You want equal trade w/ China? Then tRump should pay American wages to the Chinese who manufacture his clothes, & you Elon can start by paying American wages in your Mexican factories
