Current price will be honored for orders made before Sept 5th, but delivered later.

Serious question, why is it so expensive for essentially a software update?
I know there’s a LOT of RnD, but EVs are already really bloody expensive and that’s the main gatekeeper for most it seems.

The idea is that it’ll make you income via robotaxi once the problem is solved and they can prove it to regulatory agencies
As it becomes more likely they succeed, the price/value goes up.
You can buy the EV without FSD
