Putting a thermolectric module in between and temperatures can be controlled pretty fast 10 Hz to 50 Hz. Meerstetter TEC Controllers from Switzerland can handle up to 1kW and scalable..
They a accurate as hell, down to 1/100 of a Kelvin, reading in the milli Kelvin scale
-
Without any load, stabilized temp down to mK is possible

I heard from ABB CEO that powering and cooling data centers was one of the largest drains on the electrical grid. Interesting to see how pandemic changes electricity use. Glad you’re into making batteries

I mean, HVAC and Data Centers were biggest drain on electrical grid

Would be Liquid nitrogen an option? I know it would need to be filled up at some point, not sure if that would be a real solution
-
More important to have high heat handling capability---liquid nitrogen would bubble with heat and cause pressure problems. Conventional automotive coolant done effectively is more appropriate.
