Did it intentionally abort to the water instead of the Landing Zone or was that by accident?

As far as I know it normally aims for the water and only switches to the pad near the end.

Was this a three engine landing burn or how could a single engine have that much control authority of spin?

Since only the center engine has gimbal controlls, it doesent realy matter if 3 or 1 engine burn...
