Get this question a lot, so need to clarify that there’s no such thing as a Tesla “refresh”. Other car companies do this every ~3 years, but Tesla constantly upgrades vehicle hardware every week.

You must admit the interior fit and finish became 1000x better as well. It felt less plasticky, the squeaks and rattles were gone, and the S and X took on the feel of a true modern luxury car, even without the Premium interior!
-
There have been hundreds of improvements to fit & finish over the years, but no major step change in this regard. Seats, especially, are dramatically better now than in the past.
-
I feel like the newest Tesla seats have been especially designed for me. Big fan.
-
What is going on with the single interior Elon was talking about earlier?
-
My peasantry mind can’t even comprehend what’s going on
-
i mean when people talk about the feel of tesla's seats, i couldn't possibly relate
-
My wife says they are not “squishy” enough. I asked her, “So you love our Tesla except the seats?” “Yes!” She replied. Tough crowd.
-
She should consider Cinnabons a couple times a day. It's cheaper and easier to make the backside squishy than refit a car seat.

It's one of two bits of buyer's remorse I have for my CPO, that I didn't get a refreshed fascia.
-
Let me introduce you to
@UnpluggedTesla They have a 3rd party kit for that... -
I've seen a couple, but for the price, I'll keep the cone

-
I have noticed new owners give me MAJOR props on the highway or at superchargers due to my older nose. They know I'm an early adopter or Tesla fangirl and feel they need to thank me for helping to bring about the Model 3. Be proud of it.
-
The Classic S has other advantages too... Some folks who live in front plate states have installed magnets to keep the plates in place and removable at the same time.
-
And the ability to charge at 80 amps is another advantage of early cars
-
Only with Dual Chargers...
-
I have that...but never use dual charger.

Fair enough. I completely agree that Tesla is way more about continuous improvements than any other automakers, but I also think that sometimes it makes sense to bundle several changes that work together into a "design refresh", like harmonizing Model S/X interior with Model 3's.
-
I think design refreshes may cause cyclical sales behavior. Current method avoids that and probably works in favor of depreciation. A Model S is still a Model S regardless of year. And I think that's kinda the whole point. It's the best car you can buy at that moment.

Speaking of the best sports car you can buy right now:https://youtu.be/0ic8Y1WUB2Y
