Capping Safety Ratings: #NHTSA lets automakers know to just focus on minimum to achieve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Going beyond that might cause industry to focus too much on safety which could lead to brands competing to make vehicles safer & safer!? 🤔 https://insideevs.com/tesla-model-3-safest-car-in-u-s-verifiable/ … $TSLA #Model3 ⬇️pic.twitter.com/UsLQwpnU2q

Exactly. A Tesla is objectively much safer in a crash than all other cars, according to NHTSA’s *own* calculations. This is just physics!

Truly mind boggling! 🤯 What could possibly be a good reason not to distinguish safety performance beyond ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & name "safest vehicle". It would be the most coveted award, competition would be crazy!!! #Model3🏆

It's a shame the NHTSA doesn't make this information more publicly available.

This is absurd. There will be a point where every car is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What's the point of a safety rating if it doesn't distinguish cars based on safety? Found this on Fox News that claims that there is no safest car. What next, running a story that there is no highest mountain?pic.twitter.com/EuEZgrN7hO

Why to make such sophisticated tests, make complex statistical calculations afterward, if finally, it’s 5 ⭐️ to all the “safe” cars ?! What’s the meaning to bash Tesla who really care for its customers and their safety...? Never heard of that about Volvo for its safety features

Actually, in the 1970s, Mercedes and BMW both attacked Volvo....until they caught up in similar categories. Here is a good breakdown of the NHTSA reporthttps://seekingalpha.com/article/4211140-fact-checking-teslas-safest-car-claim?dr=1 …

Thank you, I didn’t know for Volvo... Maybe too young Good article, yes I dug deep too into the NHTSA docs, read the NCAP test procedure, the crash test reports... A nightmare 😠 to find the relevant datas on https://www.regulations.gov
