I wonder what type of glass they are using? Plexiglass would do well with the shockwaves, but not so well against the heat from the exhaust as the rocket clears the tower. On the other hand, glass would would do well against the heat, but not as well against shockwaves.

You should have a contest for artwork on the tower cladding! The cladding panels could be painted on the ground before being lifted into place (rather than dangle artists from a window washing rig hundreds of feet in the air).
