Engineers and scientists dont need billionaires to support themselves. Without Elon, they would work somewhere else or run their own companies. Elon would not be a billionaire without them, but they would do just fine without him.
They would do fine jobless? If they decide to quit on the spot Elon can just hire other people.
And they can find other jobs. These are highly skilled and sought after workers. Not easy to replace.
They can find jobs elsewhere? Tell that to the thousands of jobless equally skilled people around the world.
