How many / which of those options will we have available to us? There's obviously a balance between safety and user control.
It’s a tough call. Reality is that it will be pretty easy to bully a self-driving car, as it will always yield. Will prob have a manual override that requires continuous press for hardcore lane changes.

How about instead of having the autopilot on/off, it is actually a modular system, with time-based re-activation. E.g. if you take over the steering wheel, that part of the autopilot gets overridden, then, without having to do anything, after 30 seconds its fully reactivated

If the car is driving itself, would I even bother to look up from a good book to care that the car is "being bullied?" The whole point to self driving is that road rage becomes a non-factor. Maybe a self-driving
