By the way, I am actually a socialist. Just not the kind that shifts resources from most productive to least productive, pretending to do good, while actually causing harm. True socialism seeks greatest good for all.

I tend left of center, myself, and I see it. I don't know if it's a generational lack of reading comprehension, but they really need to read some Harlan Ellison and listen to Carlin. More lefties used to be about DIY anti-establishment individualism. Freedom. LIBerty.

There seems to be a march in total lock step attitude in the left right now and if yr position deviates then you are the very worst extension of whatever position u take. Nuance has been sacrificed to self regard.

Both the left and the right have their lockstep factions. The right has just been better at gaining satisfaction by getting more reactionary (rather than simply conservative) candidates elected. Fewer people seem to want to give an inch and get anything done.

Voluntary decentralized communities would allow various political parties to build their ideal communities in a peaceful resolution as opposed to endless political debate and attempted domination. Its the everyone gets what they want solution
