Questioning science+building rockets are not mutually exclusive. This is how I took Elon’s POV. He cares about truth +integrity. Furthermore for all the rhetoric I’m pretty sure he can be humble enough to admit fault when necessary for the sake of furthering causes e.g science

I think the real problem currently is that
@elonmusk believes that what he is doing is for the greatest good. If he has to lie/embellish or mute points of view that lengthen the timeline to mass adoption of EVs then he will do it- reasoning with it becomes meaningless IMO -
So while he may be committed to honesty and integrity- he certainly does not if it negatively impacts Tesla.
