the fact the police in every city dressed for BLM protests as though they were going to battle, and police on the ground here have no riot shields, no batons, in an attempt to remain peaceful... what more proof do you need that there are two Americas

I am inclined to think this will be confirmed by lack of arrests, indictments or a rigorous investigation after the fact but i hope i am wrong!

people I know were arrested, tear gassed, and beaten in june for gathering peacefully past a curfew (that was announced 30 minutes before it went into effect) ... knowing that no one here will face charges is making me furious
