People are rightly enjoying Mason Mount losing yet another final for Chelsea. But let’s not forget Azpilicueta also missed his penalty, his final act as a Chelsea player

Israeli police ripping Palestinian flags off of the hearse carrying the coffin of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. Even the dead in Palestine are not allowed to be Palestinian under Israel’s occupation.

Shireen Abu Akleh was also an American citizen. Let’s see how the Biden administration reacts to her murder at the hands of Israel’s military, which gets $3.8 billion annually from the U.S.

Israel has proven time and time again that Palestinian lives, including those of journalists and dual US citizens, are disposable. And it continues to do so with impunity and with the seemingly unconditional backing of the U.S. When is enough enough?

Shireen Abu Akleh’s colleague & eyewitness who was standing right by her described how an Israeli sniper directly targeted her. They were both wearing press jackets & helmets. Shireen was shot near her ear, where the helmet didn’t cover. This was a shot of extreme precision.

Shireen Abu Akleh got out of the vehicle, wearing a helmet and a flak jacket clearly marked with PRESS. An Israeli sniper shot her, hitting just below her ear. She fell near a wall, and the shooting continued, hindering other journos from reaching her.

It’s been a really stressful season for my beloved Arsenal FC, but only because we have a chance of making top four. So stressful at times that it’s forced me to think about what I get from football. This article from the brilliant helps make sense of it all.
