Damn straight. I feel as if The Academy is becoming less and less respectable each year and this is another huge step backwards. The film industry deserves better and the people working in it deserve better. Cinematography is a vital aspect of filmmaking. It's not a footnote.

I hate when people split up the categories into 'the important ones' and 'just the technical ones'. They're all important and each have a massive impact on the movie.
