    Sugar babies! 3/3 hives are alive. We cracked them open during the warm spell today to feed sugar blocks (seen in 1st photo) to the honey bees as insurance against starvation. But they have ample honey stores still. (Hey, look at the bees peering up at us in the 2nd photo. Hi!)

    Knowing there is a diversity of animals, trees, and plants living outside the home where I live.

    What's one thing you think you'll doing in a world that has addressed climate change that you can't easily do today? I picture myself riding my bicycle a mile to the train station (which once existed and could be brought back) to visit my future grandchildren who knows where.

    My habit-tracking sheet lets me see which habits are easy and which ones I resist. Then I can decide which to keep or let go of, and how to batch and stack habits for least resistance and most efficient and effective action.

    Fascinating to see such variety in the answers of this thread. Readers used very different ideas from Atomic Habits depending on their situation. (This is also why I give many examples of each concept. Different people need different entry points to make ideas actionable.)

    10 am, -15C. The honey bees live: I hear a gentle buzzing from all three hives. Honey bees stay warm by forming a tight cluster, queen in the middle, and make heat by vibrating the muscles that move their wings. We can sometimes hear this buzzing.

    Here’s an idea. If you’re looking for some company and to feel loved how about visiting a nursing home regularly or a pet shelter or volunteering to help at a homeless shelter. SMH.
