    I remember, back on today’s date in 2002, learning that the great PEGGY LEE had died. I just found out that Peggy’s birth name was “Norma Delores Egstrom”. Remember the TV special that Peggy, Ella and Benny Goodman were on?

    The great DANNY KAYE was born: 1/18/1913. He hosted a TV variety show and Ella was his guest back in the Nineteen Sixties. It was magic! Buddy Greco was on the show, too - enjoy!
