Black people. Not POC. Black people. That’s who we’re talking about right now. Say it. I’ve been seeing this all week, and it’s erasure.

It's so frustrating! PEOPLE need to make up their mind. Someone gets agitated if you say African American, another if you say black person and yet another if you say POC. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Please bare with all of us trying to please y'all!

That’s not it. POC means people of color, and in this moment, it’s about Black people being murdered by police, not all people of color. Just, like, Google it and there won’t be any damning going on 🤷🏾‍♀️

I didn't know the difference. I'm sorry but I have been fighting hard. I was once told "black" was offensive. It's so difficult trying to fight and not step on toes with the wrong words.

You should be uncomfortable right now. LISTEN and learn, apologize if you need to, adjust and try again. It’s not much of a fight if this is what’s difficult for you.

Honestly asking, why only Black people? As a Mexican-American, my relatives and I have dealt with plenty of incidences of racism, sometimes from police. I think it's fair to say police treat minorities overall worse than whites. This has been a question on my mind lately.

I'm guilty of this but thankfully learned my lesson when I was called out. Black people need to be celebrated, acknowledged and heard, and language is so important.
