Only capitalism recognizes rights of ownership. Socialism says society owns my resources, labor and output. Few are motivated to labor for others nor are others able or willing to take care of me. Human nature = I will tend to my needs and wants the best when I am free to do so.
The reason #socialism doesn’t work: human nature. If you don’t trust politicians now—why would you give them more power, more control & more of your hard earned money to rule over your lives?
Come on—don’t be that naive.
