What we *really* have with tribal governments, a result of soft-headed federal government letting them run wild, are little cartels, all run by gangsters for gangsters & everybody living on the rez is at their mercy. There are NO Constitutional protections on tribal land.
Which is the result of socialist style government control and policies dominating the economy on the Rez.

How about a Communist dictatorship? More extreme. : ) Most of the money & resources the tribes ever get stay with the 1% that control them & their relatives & friends. I remember when Leroy Jackson tried to expose that cronyism over Chuska Mts. in the 90s & ended up dead.
