There’s nothing “progressive” about socialism.
No matter how nicely it’s packaged to sell to the masses.
#Socialism IS REGRESSIVE.
Ask a Venezuelan.

Scary word when you ask someone who comes from a socialist nation! It’s more scary when you look at the historical rise of socialist nations. Have you done that? Do you trust giving government more power over your life? I don’t!

Uncontrolled, unregulated capitalism eventually leads to socialist revolution. I'm for highly regulated and controlled capitalism (by the government) mixed with strong social programs. Like Denmark, Norway and many other European nations.

I ageee we have a problem with unregulated capitalisim. For example big pharma—which
@POTUS took a big step last week in lowering drug prices. The nations you reference are not socialist, capitalist w/ 60% tax rates to fund social programs. Norway has more govt owned industry.2 odpowiedzi 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -

Progressives are looking for the same socialist support that democratic socialist nations have. You say they are not socialist so why are you so afraid of the USA having the same programs and regulation on capitalism they have?

Socialist Democrats do not want the same thing, they want an entire takeover of the largest private industries in healthcare & energy. It’s about control. Nor are either proposals feasible. I don’t trust the government. Nor politicians w/ more power. Do you?

Healthcare should not be profit oriented. Almost all the 35 oecd nations have known that for the past 60 years. Profit healthcare means denying healthcare to make a profit!

Again another falsehood. No one is denied healthcare in the US. You really believe that govt takeover of healthcare will be equitable for all. Because. They tell you it will? Do some research! We can’t even successfully deliver non profit healthcare to 2 million Native Americans
