Why should the US be expected to allow foreign nationals (citizens of another country) to vote in OUR elections? Especially given the concern of “foreign influence” in elections?

Census does not allow non-citizens to vote. It simply counts ALL people present in US at a given time. Citizens AND non-citizens (green card, visas, tourists) benefit from libraries, roads, hospitals, schools. I don’t see separate roads for non-citizens. It’s a count not a vote!

Thank you for stating the obvious. I never stated otherwise. Perhaps the hashtag threw you off? The point of contention at this juncture w the census is that Dems want to use non-citizens for re-districting of congressional and other districts.And of course allow them to vote.
