Since there are bad teachers should we defund all schools? Bad politicians, defund all government? Bad doctors, defund all health care? Bad you name it— the answer isn’t to punish the good because of the bad. Or falsely and childishly assume all are bad!
Bad, evil and hateful individuals of any of profession causing the harm or wrongful death of innocent lives does not mean we must punish the whole. It should illicit an honest discussion toward meaningful reform & addressing injustice. Knee jerk reactions never make good policy.
If you want to help the education system we need to encourage more parents to home school. Especially those in the middle and upper middle class...where only one parents works full time outside of the home. Or they can join a home school organization, most home schoolers....
are part of a group and the parents can share duties. I have friends and family that have done that for years. Then those who a in poor communities or where both parents need full time position outisde of home children could be placed in charter school or voucher program....
Could help in limiting number of teacher to student ratio. Also those in home school programs are eligible for free public education so they could participate in advance placement programs, special skills, music, sports, language if necessary.
Doctor's that deal in cash only and accept no insurance is making a resurgence. They cost less money for the patient and the doctor makes more money. If there was no need for malpractice insurance and only permitted suits based on negligence. Billions could be saved every year
Over haul the tax system, only tax non-food items and food items with no-nutiritonal value. Food stamps/EBT card usage for Healthy food only....no prepackaged junk. encourgae teaching those on food stanmps to cook from scratch to save money....
Encourage(require) those on food stamps to either volunteer (if a economically depressed area) or a get a job (at least part time depending on the situation, and all children are over the age of 5 yrs old). Encourgae parents to not place children into child care...
Many families that work and place children in child care would save money if they didn't work outside of home or is they traded time with children with friends of families sharing responsibilities. Encourage foster adoption, limit Social Services need. Giving parents 1 time....
and then allowing the child to be adopted if parents are not making progress instead of allowing children to remain in foster care for 5, 6, 7 years. Children adopted or placed in permanent guardianship won't requite as many social workers, reducation in gvt employees.
