Prefacing that I am pro-BLM, but this is just policy wearing a mask. A policy about uniforms and messaging would be written in their employee handbook like pretty much any other company.

That is a good point. While the mask policy might not mention wearing non taco bell logos or clothing with exposed words the employee handbook might. But from the Taco Bell Employee handbooks you can pull online they don't. They assume non issue since you have uniform.

I showed up to work wearing a mask with the golden girls on it. I was told to remove it, I removed it and went on about my shift. Yeah it sucked but Its your job. Just take it off and go on. They make the rules. When you clock out put it back on.

Isn't this just the actions of a single manager though? I don't disagree that it was completely out of line for the manager to react the way they did, but how is Taco Bell complicit for the actions of a single individual or somehow responsible for said actions?
