IMO These statues aren’t art, they are commissioned propaganda. They aren’t even truly commemorating history just the side of the oppressor. We can take a picture of them lying broken on the ground and add it to the story of the People they victimized. They need to go.

yeh it seems that they were put up to scare certain minorities and establish dominance. people defend it by saying its history, but just take the statue down and talk abt the history of it in a book or website ygm
