I was a cruise nanny once and only had a few hours in Puerto Vallarta. Convinced a taxi driver to give me a tour of what he thought I should see on a time & budget limit. Saw tons of Canadian & American flags. Barely anything that really made me think I was in

I went to Cancoon in Mexico and had the audacity to ask a white tourist in Spanish if he was in line for a food stand. He takes one look at me, scrunches his nose in annoyance and looks away as if I had never spoken. Once I switched to English his attitude changed, unbelievable.
