funny how they only take a moment to explain the actions of their force when it’s something like this. two photoshopped arrows and a weak response will get them off the hook. they refuse to acknowledge anything major because they know they’re in the wrong and choose to ignore it

It is police code to wear a black band on your badge when in mourning however it is a violation in MOST departments to cover your badge number (sadly not all). my dad was a police officer and wore them for funerals NOT active dutypic.twitter.com/opuDHChHbk

This should definitely be addressed. Badge numbers and identifiable information should be obtainable. How is one to file a complaint under NORMAL circumstances, let alone now? If you are doing what's right, why hide?
