Have been detained for actual reasons (weed and firewood), can confirm, no phones, they wouldn't even let me call my mom (from their phone) & tell her I was in Canada (which she didn't know). Almost had to stay the weekend, was very scary. I hope she's ok, love her the most

This sadly happens to everyone who doesn’t have a “normal” body. Trans people get searched because the people who watch the x ray machine are trained to flag anything unexpected which Could include body parts.People with ostomy bags get the same mistreatment and privacy invasion.
