I feel like so many people misinterpret what I mean when I say “don’t do drugs.” It’s never aimed at addicts because I’m fully aware it’s not that simple. Dealing with depression & being told to “stop being sad” sucks. I say it to those who have never started.

I would never want anyone to think I’m trying to dismiss someone’s addiction. If I say don’t do drugs please know I’m just trying to prevent someone from starting, I’m not trying to cure an addict, I know I can’t do that
