Depends. For males, it's to throw spermatozoids somewhere. For females, it's to be somewhat debilitated for a while so those spermatozoids have a better(freud sp : batter) chance of swimming where they need to.

Males could ejaculate without the nice feeling and females be immobilized without it (also, tbh the immobilization part seems fishy). The enjoyment is to encourage intercourse to increase the chance of procreation. For all parties involved.

The question was not "why do orgasms feel nice".
