Carrier deals are more muted for the S23 line, though AT&T is still the most aggressive with up to $1,000 off (w/ a trade-in of any Galaxy S/Note/Z phone in any condition and an unlimited plan). T-Mobile also offers up to $1,000 off with trade-in, but you need Magenta Max.

Looks like NBA TV will be airing some 4K basketball this weekend, at least according to this YouTube TV email trying to get upgrades to its 4K Plus add-on. Odd that there is no mention in email of NFL (Fox playoff games have been available in 4K).

For those keeping track, also reported data breaches in Aug 2018, Nov 2019, March 2020, a second 2020 breach revealed in Jan 2021, Aug 2021 and now this breach (Nov ‘22-Jan ‘23). Five consecutive years at least. Seriously what is going on over there??

The claim period for T-Mobile's $350M data breach settlement is juuuuuuust about to end and now they're apparently investigating another breach impacting 37M accounts? What gives @TMobile? Get it together.

T-Mobile's had a history of data breaches. Its 2021 breach exposed the data of roughly 76.6 million people and led to a several hundred million dollar settlement. The claiming period for that breach ends next week.

In its press release, T-Mobile is seemingly trying to downplay the exposed data by noting that "basic customer information" is "widely available in marketing databases or directories." It also notes that no passwords or financial information were at risk from this breach.

Delay is real on both Spectrum and YouTube TV, too. This is very odd.

I seriously can't fathom how the delay on @NBAonTNT can be this far behind the actual game. We're talking at least 4-5 possessions at this point. When TNT is on commercial, both teams have scored. I'm on @Xfinity. This is easily the worst I've ever seen.

This. Been wondering this for years.

Someone explain to me why the NFL can’t have chips in the ball for exact spots similar to the technology they have in World Cup? Insane to me given how much is at stake & technology available that it’s still just an eyeball test. “Eh I think he landed here.”

T-Mobile is putting out some early Q4 numbers today. Says it added 314,000 postpaid accounts in the quarter plus another 524,000 home internet users. Carrier says that it ended 2022 with total net adds of 2 million home internet customers. $TMUS
