I now have a collection of places around the world where I've run that I'm eager to continue adding to.
And hotel concierge is often helpful in suggesting interesting, safe places near the hotel for a run.
I usually go for runs, especially if I'm in a city I usually make "touristic routes" to be able to explore the city running :) The eating part is more complicated, I try to have a big breakfast, do not eat too much for lunch and have a early dinner.

I usually check online to see routes by local runners, and I often rely on MapMyRun, very useful app to design custom routes.
