It’s 2020, and it’s appalling that in Canada it’s still LEGAL to import trophy hunted body parts. Species under threat need our protection now, more than ever.

“What trophy hunting does very well is contribute significantly to wildlife declines by removing from populations the biggest & best individuals with the most life experience. The “old bulls” are in their prime, & shooting them kills future generations.”

We’ve recently experienced an influx of newborn babies within the park, some of whom you’ll get to meet over the next week. To start us off, here’s Layla’s beautiful baby girl seen here suckling and exploring the world around her at just a few days old. 📽 Alfred Ngachi / STE

Our world has a population of only a FEW hundred thousand left. Man has destroyed the TRUE vitality of this species by killing 20 million African 🐘🐘 since the 1800s. What's another 272?!? EVERYTHING! They ALL count: 🐘 – mjesto: Landenberg, PA

. How strong is Africa’s last elephant stronghold? "Newly published aerial surveys—out just weeks after the country lifted its hunting ban—indicate that poaching is on the rise in Botswana." Is doing anything about ++poaching?
