Been asked by a really amazing upcoming researcher to write a reference to support their postdoc application, and I’ve never felt so much pressure in life. I really want to do justice to the researcher’s great work. Any tips or suggestions for what I should focus on?
Honestly, trying to finish a book manuscript while writing fellowship and job applications, and packing my life up to move to another country can be a bit stressful. Thanks, precarious academic job market!

Academic Twitter! Do you have any recommendations/suggestions for language editors who can work on history dissertations, books and articles...preferably based in the UK or Europe?
Thanks to @electricpunkah, Rohini Patel, and @nathanbossoh for a wonderful panel on colonialism and science. Expertly chaired by @skidwayy. Now for the discussion!
